boles & birchwood

new birchwood veneer plywood, slapped up.
Bob double checks the insulation on the opposite side, not much to replace.

new left. old right.
so, as you can see below in my posts from last week that we decided to clear out a lot of the cabinets and appliances from the Boles. We figured, we'll never use them and nothing like the present to dismantle and burn all that gross fake wood. So we did. There was a bit of mold, which required removing panels and replacing some insulation. Our quick fix for all this was buying a bunch of birchwood veneer plywood, rough sand it and slap on 2 coats of quick drying finish. It may not be the Taj Mahal, but it will make it cleaner and cozier in there.

boles part 2

a few minor adjustments to the boles. replace insulation in the ceiling, remove air conditioner from ceiling which leaked, tear out all the cabinets, remove the kitchen appliances and fridge, remove mattresses, close off bathroom and create a clean sparse space to dwell temporarily while we finish the Spartan.

thankfully this trailer didn't sit and rot for too long, cleaning the moss was an easy chore.
all four corners of this trailer have built in levels - pretty sweet.
